How many volunteers does RDIF have?
As of now, we have over 8,000 active volunteers across India working on various projects. In 2023-24, we engaged around 10,500 volunteers from diverse backgrounds.
Who can become a volunteer?
Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds – students and working professionals from various disciplines. All are bound by a common purpose: ensuring better futures for rural communities!
How do I apply?
It's simple! RDIF provides both online and on-ground volunteering. Click the 'Apply Now' button to start your application process. We respond within 5-7 working days.
Do I need prior experience?
Not at all! We believe everyone can make a difference in their own special way. No prior volunteering experience is required.
What's the minimum age requirement?
You should be 18 years or above for most programs. However, if you're below 18, you can apply as a student volunteer with parental consent.
How much time commitment is needed?
During application, indicate your weekly availability. We design your experience based on your schedule, typically 2-3 hours per week for teaching programs.
Are internships paid?
Being a non-profit, RDIF internships are unpaid. However, essential incidentals are covered if you're engaged in extensive field work.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes! Upon successful completion, you'll receive a formal certificate of acknowledgement for your college/job applications.
